Art. 13, paragraph 1, lett. b), no. 1, of Decree-Law no. 83/2015, converted by Law no. 132/2015, had amended art. 490, paragraph 1, of the Italian Code of civil procedure, thereby introducing, in Italian enforcement proceedings, the so-called “Portale delle Vendite Pubbliche” (also, PVP).

According to art. 490, paragraph 1, of the Italian Code of civil procedure, when the law prescribes that an act of an enforcement proceedings has to be made known to the public, then an announcement with any information that may be of interest to the public is published on the website of the Ministry of Justice in the “Portale delle Vendite Pubbliche”.

Moreover, articles 107, 163 bis and 183, of the Italian Insolvency Act, make reference to article 490. This means that the publication on the PVP also applies to bankruptcy proceedings and compositions.

Data concerning enforcement and collective proceedings are published on the PVP by creditors and insolvency bodies.

The portal is operating since 17th July 2017.
