The “Terzo settore” reform is in force
- 14/08/2017
On August 3, the new Single Code that collects tax provisions for non-lucrative entities came into force and contains new rules for the Onlus, volunteer organizations and social promotion associations.
The reform provides for the financing of tax breaks and the activities of entities as well as the establishment of the third sector's single register.
Organizations have 18 months to adapt their statutes to the new provisions in order to be able to meet the requirements for enrollment in the Registry. Registration is not required, but if you do not, you will not be able to access a full set of bonuses.
However, the full implementation of the reform requires further EU ministry measures and authorization and should be fully operational from 2018 onwards.
