The European Single Procurement Document is now available only in electronic format
- 22/05/2018
The European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) is a self-declaration by means of which an economic operator, in replacement of certificates issued by public authorities or third parties, provides the contracting authority with preliminary evidence confirming the fulfillment of specific requirements.
With a statement of 30th March 2018, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation has explained that, as of 18th April 2018, the ESPD will have to be rendered available only in electronic format, according to Article 85, Paragraph 1, of the Italian Code of Public Procurements.
Therefore, procurement documents will contain the address of the website where the ESPD can be filled in, as well as the modalities by means of which an economic operator will send the ESPD to the contracting authority.
